« on: November 20, 2009, 21:05:08 »
hi folks

may be able to get five bfg,s in the above size at the right price ;)   so would they be suitable for a 110 defender and would they look ok, if not what would they fit?  maybe disco or freelander

cheers kevin
the shinny blue defender with the winch, checker plate body protection, extra seating and windows
and at this point I noticed the n/s air vent wasnt fully closed so lets not forget the mud stained interior and the water logged kenwood 6disc cd

One of my mates runs this size on a 90, it works, but to my mind they look a bit lost in the arches!

And its 16 inch tyres he's on about!

The 225's are 29.3 inch tall (Diameter)

whereas 235.70.16's (pretty much a standard size on Discovery's) are 29 inch tall.

So what you are looking at is tyres that are a bit narrower, but ever so slightly taller (0.3 inch)

They are a Landrover fitment for many early 90's.

They will look absolutley ridiculous on a 110 far to tiny, and if you've got an original transfer box will run out of steam about 50mph

chuck some 33s under it
