thanks for the advice, iv got it easier than most as this is the second time its had this conversion done, just needed to know about the mounts as the old ones got thrown out :lol: radiator, fuel pipes etc can just be cleaned and bolted back in :dance:
thanks for the link, i drove past the other breakers a few weeks ago, not sure exactly were it is, on a back road to kimpton i think, plumbed into sat nav as breakers so i can go straight there :)
getting the engine from a general breakers less than 3 miles from my workshop, sometimes you get lucky

to me its makes sense ( if possible for you ) fit a defender turbo 200tdi and inlet manifold, fits alot better, i did this at easter this year so far so good with the setup only had one problem so far which was the alternator bracket snapping :-k apparently its normal, fit a defender fan belt if you do the turbo mod, it allows you to raise the alternator enough to fit the turbo pipe under it
as far as i can tell that set up really works well, done alot of miles on it so far
