ah! probably the best way too!

Anyhow the thread has reminded me to add to the list of things to do that I need to figure why my dash bulb doesn't erm...glow... any more.

How to test ur glow plugs! Remove the wires from each plug,get a live wire and place it on each plug one at a time,if it sparks its ok,if it dont do oat its knackered! NICE N EASY 4 YA!!!!!

Ok, am guessing from that then that they fail as opposed to just deteriorate with time?
