front axle change

the diff has cracked and seized so am swapping it it a 200tdi j redg the donor axle is of a m redg 200tdi all seems the same
just diffrent brake callipers and pads will the ones of myy j redg pone still fit as the others are no good

Front or Rear? I've only done fronts.

200 to 200 should be fine.
200 to 300 is more complex:

The 300 had a different thread for the calipers (and one pipe a side, compared to the 2 for the 200)
I think the swivels (or the housings) are different... the oil-seals don't fit, anyway.

the thread is diffrent on the 300 and the bolt a bit fatter thats sorted had it reemed but these calipers have two pipe on as well but as i said are well naffed think ive got there now finishing it on wensday night so will let you know
