strange noise and vibration

whits:
whilst laning a few weeks go i had a odd thing happen, whilst driving about 30mph ish a odd noise like a tyre rubbing on body work but it isnt, also a vibration through the steering wheel, only happened for about half a second then stopped then 2 mins later same again, and 15 mins etc etc, so i stopped jacked it up but couldnt find anything other than a very small amount of play in o/s/f baring.
drove home fairly steady and it didnt happen, but today it came back same as before but i could fee it through the floor aswell, only did it twice about half a second each time and about 10 mins apart, have adjusted both barings and checked swivels etc but cant find anything wrong.
has anyone else had this and what did you do to cure it.

A vibration feeling at around 30mph could be front propshaft UJ'S or balancing.

checked front prop this aft and thats fine too, could it be power steering pump??????????????

sounds to me like it could be the wheel balanciung too.... get em balanced and see how you go. its a cheap fix and worth a try!! hope that helps!

wheel balance sounds like a suspect to me it can cause a hell of a racket and some monster vibrations if you have some meaty off road tyres on it.
