vitara 8v thermostat

looking at waterpump in relation to my overheating problem but could thermostat play any part in proceedings
worst case head gasket but eliminating simple things first

yes if its sticks shut it will bring the temp up as its not letting full flow of water throu the engine
as said worth a try m8y

done the water test at all temperatures

replacing thermostat first
fingers crossed
if not move on to water pump i suppose
goes 120 miles some motorway with 15 min break before overheating
round town guage creeps up other days its fine

changed the rad on mine that cured my over heating problem
