Rear bench seats, seat belts and the MOT man?

<< < (2/2)

Suvvey:
Decided to leave the seats in for now and actually spent a bit of time tonight making sure they were fitted properly as they did move about a bit 8-[

Should the number of seats be shown on the V5? Mine is left blank in this box and so are all the old copies I got with it. Wondered how the last owner said it was exempt from the congestion charge if DVLA don't know how many seats it has :-k

Or is this a bit like Land Rover never filling in the paint number on the VIN plate as after all it is a Land Rover so the colour and number of seats is never going to remain the same for very long

shouldnt need a belt for the third seat as it is a disighne usage thing  on age relation also its not that simple to retro fit belts to a ally body due to having to put spreader plates round each fixing point to stop pull through also check under type aproval as landies pass with lots missing due to being type aproved without the part
