Wanderer:
On a Disco the ones on the drop arm are left and right handed so that you can adjust the steering wheel position.

On the track rod they are the same thread with a small threaded piece which has both threads on to allow the adjustment (The track)

Can't remember which off the to of my head but there should be 3 with one thread and 1 of the opposite thread.

I think the drop arm and the adjuster are the LH threaded parts, so that all the balljoints are RH thread.
