Many moons ago, I wanted an SJ because I couldn't afford a Landie.  Then my uncle sold me a Series 3.  Turned out to be a lemon.   :evil:

Still, I fell in love with Thora and vowed to get her back to health.  My missus HATES me using her Disco off road, so I was looking for a toy to use until Thora is fixed.  An SJ was/is ideal as they're cheap and we use them at LQ.

IF a usable one comes up at a sensible price, I'll still buy one.   :D

How could you possibly mistake a lemon for a Series 3 :roll:  :wink:

I say ... forget the SJ and get on with the restoration! but then, it's easy to say, isn't it :lol:

Well, do what my children do ... find the nearest muddy puddle and jump in it as many times as possible :lol:  Oh, and if you can't find a muddy puddle, make your own by filling a bucket with water from the outside tap and pouring it over the nearest mud :roll:  :lol:
