I'm a novice welderand considering where it is I'm not sure if i could fabricate them myself to a road safety standard, the floor as i said i can do, pals pals pals can anyone help me, thanx in anticipation sav.  p.s. Other than that there are a lot of people braking discos, may be easyest to just put a new one on.

Disco_Stu:
Having had an axle bracket break on me (A buttock clenching moment and no mistake...) I would just get a decent second hand one. They can be had for £50 -100 quite easily on ebay, forums and scrappys.

Considering you're a novice welder, replacing a panhard rod bracket at exactly the right angle is not the best begiiners project.

Stu.

boss:
you can get axles damn cheap, i sold both mine for £75 which is peanuts when you consider how much a genuine new CV is or a diff

Range Rover Blues:
You can use the axle casing from a 200 or 300 model, or RRC built after 1986 ish, the ones with 7 bolts on the swivels.
