ukmudmaster:
Hi just broke a Disco, the front wings came off easily in about 10 minutes, guess 15 to replace, no problem.
Dave

Jake:
Off with the indicators and trim (depending on model) 300 is panels under headlights (nut and bolt under indicator)
Phillips screws along the top edge of the wing, a restraint bar at the front end (nut and bolt), a restraint bar at the leading rear edge just above the plastic sill and 4 bolts that are accessed through the open door. The wing should now come off.  There maybe some sealant along the top and rear edge.  Just prise the wing away (gently) and it should come, nice and slow
Remove the side repeaters, aerial.
Done
 :D

You can see the rear 4 bolts (down the front of the door) and the restraint bar at the front end (just behind the rear head light panel)
My rear restraint bar was rotted away but my wing now bolts to the sill (previously a rock slider)

Disco-andy:
before you go pulling the door apart to much, id test the motor in place. A lot of problems with windows in discos are down to the control box in the passenger foot well.

If it is that have a look at this...
