p38 central locking motors

can anybody shed some light on the differances between the central locking motors fitted as there seems to be 3 differant types, i need to replace both fronts on mine but struggling to know which ones to buy

dont really want to strip the whole lot down to find out and have to put the old ones back till i find the replacements

also anyone have any forsale?

If you can source just the actual motor you will be a popular man!

What I did was get a secondhand rear and take the motor from that; for some daft reason the rears don't burn out the same.

ive found some now it was abit differant so like you said we stripped it down and put the motors in worked a treat

my mate said he knows the motors deals alot with radio controled gear and says you can order them from his local model shop so im looking into it as we speak
