Rear seat belts

Calling all safety experts !
I am wanting to fit 2 forward facing rear seats in a Series 3 SWB with full width windows.  
Problem is how do i belt the kids up ! - how do i fix the inertia reels
to the sides. Is it a case of fixing them via brackets to the side panel nearest the rear door ??
Any thoughts on rear seats and seat belts in series 3s ?

depends if you want lap belts or full 3point belts if lap can attach anywhere in seat box area just put some sort of spreder plate to please the mot-man and to make the fixings more secure. for 3 points unless you have a full internal roll-cage the back rear corners are your only choice, just make sure you can get a very good fixing as if don't look right the mot-man will put your car down as unsafe to drive :(

when i fitted rear seats in mine i got hold of a couple of back seats out of a Transit minibus which had the inertia reels and buckles fitted to the seats already. all i did was drill through the floor and bolt it just above the chassis with a spreader plate, one bolt thru the floor and thru the chassis bracket on the inner side of the chassis.for the outer two bolts i drilled thru the seat box and the reinforcer beams underneath the wheelarch and fitted angled spreader plates so as not to squash the outriggers.
Are you fitting genuine rear seats or are you on the look out for some, if so my next door neighbour has just converted a minibus into a van and might have some seats with integeral belts for sale, if your interested let me know and i'll ask him....

Although i was going to fit 2 Land rover forward facing seats i may be interested in the "trani van" seats idea. If you can make enquiries as to cost and advise where you live (for courier/collection costs) and if possible take digital photos of them and email it to me that would be brill
so i can decide.

i have asked my neighbour and he says he wants £15 a seat including the seat belts, i will try and get some pictures and email you with them only problem is at the minute my home computer is broke, hope to be up and running very soon though so i will get them to you ASAP.I live in barwell near hinckley. don't know about courier costs, but if you let me know where you live maybe we can sort something out if your not too far away...
