Trailing Arms Question

(1/2) > >>

Lewis.J.P_1987:
Does any one know the thread type for the rear lower trailing arms for a Ranger Rover Classic. I thinks its M20 X 1.5?

V8MoneyPit:
Just measured mine and it seems to be M20. Standard M20 pitch is 2.5. My aftermarket arms are this. Metric fine would be 1.5 like you suggest.

Rossko:
Most likely 'it depends' - imperial up to some cut off date, metric thereafter?  Around 1989 at a guess.

Lewis.J.P_1987:
Well mines 1987, but the trailing arms have been changed a few times, what would the original thread be for that year?

squaddie_fox:
you want the trailing arms with the larger thread. as the ones with the thin thread have a tendency to either strip the thread or bend easily when you are of roading.
