Why cant all companies be like this?

I just had to call Sonim, the people who manufacture the Land Rover S1 mobile phone, about the battery life i am recieving!

It is supposed to have up to 8 hours talk time and 1500 hours standby!

However, with 2 phone calls and a few sms messages, i am getting 36 hours before it dies!

So i gets on the phone to them in the good ole us of a (not a call centre in Bangalor i might point out) and speak to a real person! 

First of all he recommends i charge it for 8 hours continiously to see what happens, so i point out i charged it up overnight the night before last.

His response, ok, we will get a new out in the post to you asap.  No quibble, no fobbing off, just decent customer service!

I've got a Sonim XP3 and it's brilliant. No gimmicks, nothing fancy, just a very sturdy phone.

I've thrown it around a room, dropped it on concrete and in a river, had someone ride over it on a bicycle (don't ask!) and it's fine. When I'm off road, or on site, I take the SIM from my iPhone and stick it in the Sonim.
