I must say I was keen to have one of the Land Rover phones but after seeing all the troubles you've had with them so far, I'm gonna hold back and see how you guys get on.

I was impressed with the one Thrasher has but thats the only one I've heard of thats been as described, there must be others I'm sure but until they've had their faults ironed out I'm gonna hold fire.

A 2 mega pixel camera is not great loss, a lot of current phones have way better cameras than that.

Yes mate took some in wales at the mo and guess what can't get the phone software to work :roll: i will sort them out when i get back mate phone seems ok now but orange still not sorted the card what a nightmare

One thing Karlo if the sun is out you can't see the screen at all. If i was you mate wait till you have had a play with this one before you get one dude then you will know for sure ;)

Are all your phone OK now ? as SWMBO said I can have one :clap: just don't want to get something thats no good & has anyone got memory map loaded onto it yet ?

Also she has found somewhere thats giving a free laptop with it (subject to contract of course), but need new contract now anyway so can give laptop to my daughter :-k

Some people are still having bother, but mine with the new battery in it still hasnt used a bar and i have been using the phone!

Just when you get it, dont switch it on, just plug it in over night to charge while switched off, and that should set the battery up right!

My first battery i had it switched on, but charging when i first got it, but that might be the problem.

John what i would say to you is if you need a phone that will bounce and is waterproof go for it. If these two thing are not high on you needs then really don't bother there are so many much better phones out there.
As someone else said I'm thinking of getting a nice phone and just using this for trips, kayaking, sailing and the like "Expensive lesson". The ruggedness of it suits me but i could not say its a great phone. I was also told yesterday that sonim were going bust "phone shop" I can not find anything to confirm this yet but worth checking.

Yeah, it is a fantastic phone!

Also ask bettyblue22, i never keep a phone longer than a month!

Unfortunately it doesnt have some of the functions i need to use on a daily basis which is why its up for sale!

Aside from that they are fantastic, if i didnt need the money i would keep it as well for when i go off roading!

This one has same fault now as well battery lasts about 3 day if i don't use it. So its going back again.

Ps Neil is yours still ok if so think you had the only good one. Lol
