RRC:
I have a V8 Range Rover.

I ahve spent £1000 since end of October on fuel.

I would like a LPG too, but cant afford it at the moment

I blew over £100 on fuel this weekend!!

Lpg is the way to go, but like others, moneys tight at the mo :cry:

I aint no expert but this is what I have found out so far.

You can get self fit kits for around £600 - £800 which arnt to difficult to do but I would STRONGLY recomend a professionally fitted kit.  I got mine fitted by an Autogas dealer for £1300.  This is quite expensive but covers all re-tuning and servicing of the system for the life of the vehicle.  (the system needs to be run in as diaphrams soften with use and requires re tuning) approx twice in 5000 miles then should be OK. Also the tank needs to be drained once a year as the wax builds up in it (they put wax in with the gas to aid lubrication of pistons etc.)  Also insurance companys prefer systems with installation certificate.  However some gas kit companys will check and certify self fitted kits (for a fee).
