The colour is just pigment added to the polyurethane, so does not define the quality of the bush. Different companies use the same basic colours, so its not possible to tell which is which just by the colour.

The series one discoveries I've seen had the stiffer bush (as used on the 1986 to anti roll bar range rovers) fitted as standard. You can't just fit these to the early RRC (1970 to 1985) withough changing the radius arms and axle brackets as the later bushes are wider.

If I do buy polybushes again I would probably get Super Pro bushes, because I don't want to be changing bushes again after a few months again. However as fitting metalastic bushes is not a problem for me, I use OEM rubber bushes.
