this was a few years ago up in Lincolnshire..I had a regular run past th red arrows base , so got used to seeing them train - obviously the guy that hit me hadnt been that way before..i stopped at the island - he didnt.. 350 mile old laguna was written off - he had hit me doing 30mph and the engine was very nearly in the footwell...all he had done to the truck was crack a reflector and put a black stripe across the bumper

whats quite common here is the inability of the other users to realise the implications of a landie in plain view going slower or in some cases stationery positions and STILL managing to clobber them

its not like you drive a gee whizz or something small  is it.

mk3 hilux one, nissan micra nil.

at a roundabout on a duel carrige way i pull forward a couple of feet for a better view, the woman in the micra drove straight into the back of me. hopped out the car for a look  - micras wing, bonnet and lights completley  smashed. did feel quite sorry for the woman driving when i got out- all 6foot 5 of me in tatty overalls getting out of a white pickup must have been quite alarming :D
no damage to mine apart from a fog light lens :)

I am certain that the MOD and JSDF (Japanese Self-Defence Force) worked together on a top-secret invisibility project. I can't explain in any other way how I know so many people with invisible Land Rovers or Mitsubishis!
