Brakes sqealing constantly
Bradders:
--- Quote from: crazymac on June 25, 2009, 12:30:42 ---With some mintex pads in the Discovery they can slip forwards in the caliper allowing them to rub and squeel!
Take them back out and grind the leading edge off, that should cure it. You did of course put some copper slip on the back of them as well?

8-[ Eeeeerm okay so I am just nipping off to get some Copper slip. Just hope I can remember where the chuck key is for my angle grinder so I can put your suggestion to the test. cheers
banzai67:
don't bother, just throw them in the bin, i filed the backplates, cleaned all the rusty cack of the calipers, greased them and had new discs but they were embarrassing. mintex suck ass.
DrT:
I was about to buy some new Mintex pads but now I'm not so sure! What do you suggest are the best ones to get?
karlo:
I always use Lockheed, have done for years.

bogie:
