still not working,was coming up the trouble shioot menu & so when i went in to trouble shoot it would say everything was fine,im runnin 6.2 i thiink,just networked all the pcs in my house 2day & i dunno if that could have somethin 2 do with it

whats your net connection box? is it a proxy and/or gateway or u running through a broadband router?

ive a network at home linked through a router and no issue at all

its a gpl verion of msn (its mainly for linux but has a windows binary)

i use this in work cos the normal msn crashes out.. poxy isa

its a broadband router that im using,after that i dunno cos i work with spanners & no nothing about computers ,will try the amsn on my pc cos im on my mums just now so i can acces my hotmail inbox as the nortons anti virus wont let me in

if its through a router then you shouldnt have issues although if the router is a new install it may be blocking msn

some do this you see

worth checking the admin page of the router for more info.

its still no workin so ill just leave it till the web admin (my mum) gets back cos i dnt know what im doin,ill happily do the bulkhead on a 110 but dnt let me near a pc   :lol:  :lol:

I had probs on the main box, but been playing around with spyware software, so I think I need to reset a few things.

Tried the laptop and no probs there
