Norfolk pub meet - Weds 24th June

There is always a problem finding somewhere that suits everyone. So the suggestion earlier for Swaffham/Dereham area is as good as anywhere to start with.

Has anyone thought of having a couple of venues around Norfolk i.e North both east and west for those people in the top half of the county and south both east and west for those in the south including Norfolk/Suffolk/Cambridgeshire border, the 4 pub meets can then arrange with each other for get together days pay & play b-b-que's ect ect

That's exactly the plan Darren. Just seemed reasonable to start in the middle of the county. Then a different area to follow. But we haven't had any suggestions for a venue yet!
We do have a rather limited number of members in the region and they are scattered around. So the problem with having several meeting places is that some might only get 2 people turning up! That's what happened at the last Norwich meet!
We used to get up to 20 people out to our Norwich meets a few years ago, but the numbers dwindled and we stopped the meetings. The same happened the last time we tried. Started out with a reasonable turnout and after 2 or 3 months it was down to a few people.
I'm more than happy for us to try again though.

I know the pub near me who would be happy to host a meet got a large car park too. Location is Feltwell, Thetford Norfolk.
To give an idea of location -
Norwich - 1 hour
Cambridge - 1 hour
Kings Lynn - 30 mins
Bury St Edmunds - 30 mins
Swaffham - 30 mins

OK mate, sounds good to me! Would you get a chance to drop in and check which evening they prefer? ..... just in case we get 20 people turning up (chance would be a fine thing, but we can always hope!!). Then we can set a date.
