I would think that it will be much different from 90, if you go for a 9000-9500lbs winch you should be just fine
dawdler:
a stock disco is about 2000kg give or take
i had a 8000lb winch which pulled the disco out of alot of stickky situations
i have a 9000lb winch now
Stinger:
I was affraid someone was going to say that. A mate of mine keeps trying to spend my money, he says I need a least a 9000lb. [!Expletive Deleted!] he is right :(scared):
Colin 009:
Thats what I'd go for, if I had the beer tokens.
Range Rover Blues:
Kerb weight of a RRC EFi is 1927Kg but that includes drver and full tank. The don't forget the weight of all the c**p you carry and the winch itself.
Advice is usually 1.5 to 2x the weight of your car in line-pull (remember this is quoted on the first layer of rope too) to account for all the mud that will be clinging to your car by the time it's stuch fast. If I remeber right it's roughly 2,250lb to a tonne. (100kg=16stone if that helps)
