(1/2) > >>

mayhem16uk:
right, basically my disco has more holes in it than i can be arsed to patch up now and as the mot is about out i went a bought a bobtail disco off a guy down the road.
it had a 4.2l V8 in it which is coming out in place of my 200tdi out of my current disco.

im looking for an insurance company which is going to understand the modifications done to it.
body cut. Big wheels and tyres, big lift and the rest.

has anyone got anyone they recommend using as im 22 and my standardish disco costs enough :P

Disco-andy:
Have you tried Adrian flux they seem to cope with most things?

I cant imaging it will be that cheep mind but you never know with them.

boss:
try adrian flux or sureterm. there is also another modified car company who will insure anyone on anything for a chosen piriod. ie you can insure it for a week if you want.

when i was 18 i got a quote on my bobtail at £3009 with 3 winches silly suspension rollcage ect from adrian flux.

mayhem16uk:
thats cool. will have a little chat with em and see what they say. wont be on the road til end of july when i get to swap the engine and box but worth a look.

adrian flux seem promising anyways :D

cheers for the replies. will let you know how it goes.

adrian fluxes will quote for anything i think but it wont be cheap- the quqte for my 2.8isuzu td rrc was £2500 :( bareing in mind it was only worth £750 and third party, compared to the £900 for my £7500 110 td5, fully comp   :)

peter best are also worth a try
