Scotsman:
well the jobs done, looking much better and tidier too. wasnt too difficult either. drew a template from the 300 light box and transferred to to the 200 box. enlarged the hole on the side of the box and made an oval hole to accomodate the indicator light retainer spring, the main box i just cut into with the grinder to the marked circle edge then nibbled the bits off leaving me a 180mm hole to accommodate the headlight. the hardest part was replicating the adjuster holes but i bought a 22mm bi-metal cutter and got to work. so all in around 3 hours work which also included cleaning up the rust around the bottom of the boxes too. Then the following day with me all smiling and proud, a mate said he could have given me a full 300 front end off a breaker.......sods law eh!
