Fitting 300 Headlights on a 200

(1/2) > >>

Scotsman:
Hi all, seen a few posts about these but wonder if anyone has a template or measurements for cutting the original backplate on the 200 to mount the brackets for the 300 lights? Also how do the indicators, trim pieces & grille panel get secured?

TIA

python:
i have a disco 200 with the 300 llights fitted, not by me but they are in, where are you? im in fife scotland, are you anywhere near so you can have a look,.

i have a 300 grill, lights, indicators and indicator trim up for grabs if your interested

Range Rover Blues:
Easiect way is to cut the headlight panels out of a scrap 300 (or buy new 8-[) and weld them ontot he boxes that are in the 200, you need to do lots of cutting anyway.

Then IIRC there is a little bracket on the outer end of the grille but you could make that.

Scotsman:
thanks for all replies. I already have the lamps and grille etc, just wanted fitting details. I've managed to blag a look at a mates 300 and taken a template off the headlight box. Just need to make some extra holes and cut out the main opening, making it larger and to one side. I've made the bracket on the wing that mounts the trim and indicator lens from ally angle and just need to make a couple of triangular plates to hold the bottom of the grill and im done

cheers
