stuartevans:
How do i get the cold start light to go out after the engine has warmed up as it stays on all the time. Thanks in advance

Lucy1978:
If it's a petrol, you push the choke back in, if that doesn't switch it off the switch has detached itself from the cable.  If it's a diesel, it could be that the heater plugs aren't switching off, think they're on a timer relay somewhere.

lightweight-love:
yeah as climbingchris said. on petrol choke operates it, can try twisting the choke knob a bit to try make it go out.

Amma:
Black electrical tape?

If it's a petrol engine, do you really need the light anyway? Just remember to push the choke in.

If it's a diesel then why not bypass the standard glow plug system and fit a sprung toggle switch (so it matches the rest of the dash) to operate a relay for the 'plugs'? That way you know when they are on and only on when absolutely needed.
