Yes they can leak - have you noticed any difference in the brake pedal, having to pump it to get decent pressure or anything?
First step would be to replace the gasket and see if that does any good, they can tend to fracture and split so replacement may be necessary - just over £100 for a new one :shock:

How easy are they to get off?

Sounds like the same symptoms I have too then :wink:
Haven't got a clue on how difficult it is to remove but I might have a better idea next week! :wink: :lol:

It's definately the break vacuum pump. Do they leak?
If mine was owt to go by - yes. It can dump most of the engines oil in about three miles if it gets too bad.
No, really.
The good news is that it isn't too hard to replace - a bit fiddly mind.
