she failed on (8/4/09) : reason for refusal: 1. ns headlamp aim low. 2. DBT Service Brake efficiency 45% (she had been standing), .3. both front windscreen washers provide insufficient washer liquid. 4. os axle swivel joint has excessive play. 5.  Exhaust emits an excessive level of metered smoke for a non turbo charged engine (she had been standing), .6 front passenger door cannot be openned from inside vehicle (it is stiff but can be opened). 7. Fuel cap sealing washer missing. 8. Front registration plate deteriorated. 9. os front wheel bearing feels rough when rotated. ADVISORY ITEMS: 10. Radiator has small leak. 11. Oil leak (rocker box cover). 12. ns steering neck seal leaking. 13. Steering slightly tight. 14. Both steering necks pitted.  The MOT was undertaken at a Quick Fit garage used to normal cars! It was remarked upon how good the chassis was.
