I now get a new switch card every year so if they try that trick the money wont go through anyway as expiry date etc will be wrong.  ;)

My brother recently passed his test. He told his insurer, Norwich Union, expecting it to go up but they said no extra charge. They might be worth a try?

I had a shock yesterday. Solihull Mick is fitting a V8 in my series so I rang the company up to see how much they're go to sting me for.

Lot's of questions - how much is the horsepower increase (almost 100% increase), have I uprated the brakes (no) etc.

The end result was almost a 10% increase in my premium. I'm now paying £108 per year for a two car policy. Outrageous.....
