Ebay service
Xtremeteam:
thought i would post up about the experiance my dad has had from a person who frequents this forum selling his selfmanufactured winch bumpers etc, my dad had bought a pair of discs & some other bits n bobs from him & when asked refused to combine the postage, anyhows my dad bought the stuff & after it arriving yada yada he messaged the ebay seller asking if he would reconsider the postage issue to bring it to a satisfactory resolution,
However the reply he got back was somewhat surprising..................
Being told to f999 off & leave what feedback he f999 liked as he wasnt that bothered is always a good way to advertise for future business,
So big thanks to guard yer 4x4

Can't condone email replies like that and looks a bit short sighted if he's using this forum to 'advertise', BUT by paying up after being refused combined postage your dad accepted that arrangement.

Did he pay for two packages and received two or one. If he received one he has been ripped off,and report it to Ebay.If he received two, he got what he payed for.

not really about technicalities is it, more about integrity :?

Unfortunately a lot of this sort of thing goes on, not only on ebay. There are a few ebay sellers that really couldn't care less about there service or feedback.
It’s also unfortunate that your dad paid, and then tried to negotiate a better deal on the postage.
I had a look for guard yer 4x4 on ebay but it didn’t return anything, is that his user name or shop name?
The only thing you can do is leave the feedback you feel appropriate, and never use this seller again.
Dont let it put you off using ebay though, there are a lot of good honest people using it.
