110 sleeper?
Saffy:
You can take 2nd row seats out easily enough and board over with 1/2 inch ply or even chip board to cover the foot well, that gives you the bottom of the tub to lay in, I have done this in past. With more thought you can board across the wheel arch possible over the folded 2nd row seats.
...... But I hated sleeping inside a vehicle for various reasons. Also I am 6ft4 and there is not enough room to stretch legs out (even in a van 110) so never get a comfortable night sleep as I get leg cramps if I can't stretch legs out fully from a foetal ball now and again :) If your a short a$$ then it should be enough room.
Have attached some early photos of my truck from days gone by (yes rough as ...) but it is also a sleeper option. As you can see there is a folding camp bed (Z-bed!) and mattress in the rear of the 110CSW with the 2nd row seats unbolted and no need for any boarding.

Having seen that Im thinking that a van may be the only option if Im to pull this off sensibly.........
Thinking a bed panel type thing that folds down from the side, that way I can chuck my boats out in the evening and chain them to the back and drop the bed down from the sides......
Basically I need a van, but I really really do not want a conventional van (transit connect etc) because they are boring as sin. If i have to have a van its got to have some up sides.............So its either a massive estate car or a defender van looking likely at the moment.
Needs to fit in ideally;
2 kayaks (biggest being 6ft 4)
A bike (can be broken down easily enough but whole would be nice!)
All my climbing and rope access type kit
All my Mountaineering gear......
What are my chances lol!

Disco 90 george:
I've just made a platform for sleeping on in my 90, just needs a mattress. All I have to do is folded down the passenger seat and lay the boards on top. Think it should be ok for 1-2 nights......................I hope !
DogVanMan:
I went to Morocco with a Norwegian lad in a 110 CSW who slept in it every night by having a bed board that went over the folded 2nd row seats. I never paid too much attention to how it was fixed, but it's definitely possible if you want a station wagon rather than a van. Otherwise find yoursef a good ex-utility 110 and Bob's yer uncle.
