Andy I'd strongly advise not refitting the track rod after you straighten it

Mine was bent, i restraightened it, then i tried to do a 3 point turn with one of the front wheels fouled and it just twisted up like a banana, i'm glad i wasn't doing anything silly or at high speed  at the time

Buy a new one and be safe.

Cheers for the advice Andy, I shall be keeping a close eye on it.

I did ask whether or not it shoild really be replaced, and I got a no it will be OK, so I know where I'm going if it goes again.
