I once applied for a job as a meter reader, I was told I had got the job, I got measured for the uniform etc. Then and only then did they tell me I was expected to use my own vehicle, and I would have to prove I had the business use insurance..
It was hard enough getting social domestic pleasure insurance for a heavily modified 110, I can just imagine the prob  :-k I would have had trying to change it over to business use as well.
 Job offer declined.

Try the NFU as get get covered for work in my policy automatically and they know that if i'm using it for work and get a shout i don't hank about if you get my drift. Mind they won't let me use blues and twos on the road but i have another company that will.

A couple of weeks ago I picked a Pizza up in the XKR from one of the local take-aways, & one of the chaps behind the counter came out almost begging me to "boot it"as I drove off.

So, a quick 'prod' in 'sport-mode', made him happy, & got me a fee pizza on my next visit :D
