ok, the story was I have aknackered knee adn with a couple more ops coming up the Defender ( my baby) was impossible to drive due to it having a clutch and a heavy one at that so I looked for an auto....and here I am!!
a very happy owner of a WJ V8 limited with Quadradrive

Picked it up Thursday t time drove home and then staright to Norfolk for Easter and back on a tank of fuel!!
Not bad,375 miles with a few drops left!

ANyhow, lift kit, tyres and some protection to come but for now just enjoying easy pain free motoring!!!

Looking good, I know how you feel about the knee, knackered mine 6 1/2 years ago, had 14 operations to it so far (currently recovering from No. 14!)

Unfortunately mine is my right knee so not alot I can do really!!

its chuffin great, really is but I have niggle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why in such a big beast of a wagon do they fit a pencil thin steering wheel??

could have been more manly like the Defnder!!!!!!!!
But I can forgive it for all its pros!!
It wasnt until today that I actually really went over it and tinkered adn noticed with the bonnet up and blipping the throttle, I sucked in 3 pedestrians through the intake!!!
