300tdi clutch problems

I fitted a new clutch about 3 months ago.
Now all of a sudden, the pedal wont always come right up and the clutch seems very high on the travel of the pedal.
What is wrong? :doh:

yes, replaced everything!   Still works as a clutch and doesnt make odd noises.
just want to know whats wrong

A new clutch will bite higher. Has the clutch pedal helper spring come off?

Surley, a new clutch that is thicker would be lower down on the pedal stroke than the old worn one near the top of the pedal stroke.
The spring is still there and working well.
