OH NO!!
Andy the Landy:
We all do little bumps - couple of years ago I'd put the coach in the garage and decided it needed straightening up to fit the other coaches in. The garage door is like a concertena - i'd looked in both mirrors and saw daylight, popped coach in reverse and went bang into garage door that another driver had place in middle of the back end of my coach  nice big V shape in rear of coach and doors knocked off its runners - few grand of damage and I didnt get my P45 :D
Range Rover Blues:
About 18 months back I was at a set of lights behind a recovery truck when he set off in reverse and hit the Fiesta (Julie's car) even though I was reversing away from him at the time. Best thing is I could see him in his mirrors so I don't know what the b***y hell he was thinking, useless t**.
Worse still it was an ADR accident repair lorry!

Reminds me of a funny story I heard, not sure about how true though.
A bloke has been out with his mates and is, shall we say close to the limit?
He's driving home with a car full of drunken mates, one thing leads to another and he accepts a dare that sees him reversing round a roundabout.
He hits a bus coming round the right way.
The bus driver goes through the roof, swearing and the whole nine yards, calls the police.
Our 'hero' is sitting in his car as they arrive, sweating and panicking, after a while the bobby comes over, barely able to speak he asks "well officer?"
"It's ok, you can go. We've got your details" comes the reply.
When pushed a little further the bobby reveals that he became suspicious when the bus driver protested that the car had reversed into him, so they gave him a breath test, which he failed, badly.

its ok deb i knocked the hand brake off my unit the other day and didnt realise cause it was 4 in the morning :( and was half asleep, connected the trailer, released the trailer brake and ended up chasing 42 tonne of truck down the yard :o :(stoopid): if i,d have been awake all it needed was the trailer brake putting back on, no harm done just a good ragging from them who saw me do it best bit is it was my first week of my new job. we used to have them reversing sensors fitted to the 3663 trucks they were ok when new but rubbish after a while once the sensors had corroded so we used to ignor them cause they just beeped all the time you were reversing (very annoying) :D   :(biglaugh):
