The African schools are very particular about this, its about developing kids attitudes to education, giving the kids not in education something to aspire to and giving them pride in their appearance among other things. You find the same on the poorest of Caribbean Islands, they are also very particular about uniform.
Without these uniforms some of the kids would turn up in almost nothing, they have no ability to have pride in their appearance which has been proven to ave an impact on the attitude to learning.

not us doing thru charities however good it may seem?
my dad died a month ago of heart attack very sudenly so i give to british heart foundation,
my grandparents had cancer so i give to cancer research,
everybody does there bit in some way helping others.
anyway just my opinion chaps.

It made people donate, if they had done nothing that's exactly what they would have got.

The same could be said for this country!! How much money is raised by people like Macmillan and the British Heart Foundation etc because the government won't fund the systems properly??

Shouldn't that also say "Manage the system properly" too? I mean, look at how much ends up wasted through over administration.... :-o
