we now ave a 1995 3.9 v8 disco and Im smiling excpt when I pull in the petrol station however gas conversion on the cards so I gues ours is british as have the last two we had rrc v8 3.9 vouge, and a discovery tdi200 ( sadly in my m8s garden not viable to do up rotten)

 V8 Rover was originally V8 Buick so thats American
TD5 British design and assembled German owned company.
