Anybody tried new style flat wipers - or even the ones with washer jets built in
topless matt:
I have them on my 90, all i would say is make sure you regularly check the washer level, it gets through it a bit with the jets on the window.
To solve the freezing issue, if it is winter, run the washer mix at 50%....... works wonders and i have never regretted the new flat blades

Tesco sell their own brand aero-wipers!
I'm as cheap as they come and I've had a set on for the last 4 months - doing a great job at about 4 quid! I'm going for wiper mounted washers soon - just collecting the bits, but the freezing issue is the one thing stopping me - I've already had to extend the washer pipe and wrap it around the heater pipes for a good few turns just to stop them freezing - with even more pipe exposed it'll be even worse. (and yes, this IS with 50/50 mix of water to additive)

I can only say that the flat bladed windscreen wiper I have where worth the money on a defender they actually clean the screen although these don't have built in washers, although I hand built some for my old series you can't washer the windscreen better but did tend to use a a lot of water.
