well ive got a daihatsu sportrak which makes some people chuckle!! but i think its not that bad! ive driven defender 90s and 110s and been impressed but not taken them anywhere y sporty couldn't get to.
had a laugh on a shoot day last year when a gent in a p38 range rover o road tyres was convinced he could get up the edge of this really wet stubble field and i wouldnt be able too. well he has in low range and got half way before slipping sideways, i was still in 2wd and rolled straight past and got up to the top before offering him a tow!!hehe. just goes to show you shouldn't laugh at other peoples trucks!

Mitsy L200 for me, had it over 6 years now, still impressed by what it can do, showed loads of other 4x4s up,  ;)

Proper Land Rover here (2A 88).  Still got it.  Since fitting Crossplies on I've come to realise how poor they are on polished rock compared to radials.  :rolleyes:

I've only had the one, that's my current Disco... I'm amazed at just how far these things will go in standard form..!!! only thing that's lets it down is my lack of skill behind the wheel... :lol: :lol: But I'm learning fast...!!!

well the first was an 88"  v8 used as a normal motor realy i was only 18 :cool: and every one else had minis or escorts,  had about 3 range rover's as family cars .3.5, 3.9s manual and auto.
little off roading but not much as i always had the bikes for that. then started to get in to off roading so built a range rover with 6.2 v8 gmc found it to heavy on the nose. picked up a series 3 109 ffr and it was the best thing off road, so stuck to them ever since in various forms ie 2.8t, one with  homemade crew cab, diesal and petrol ect... had a disco as a family car which i thought was ok offroad, but to go were i take the series it will need mods. oh i forgot i sold a series 2a 109 to a mate so i could buy a range rover which had been modded with 4" lift, 35"tyres, holly carb bucket seats the dogs! went off roading together one day and i go bogged in in some real sticky mub!! :oops:  my mate in my old series drove right through the stuff,stoppted backed up and pulled me out.
sold the thing after that and brought my 2a back. :clap:
