depends on your budget....i brought an early 2.5 turbo(not the tdi engine) defender and i got rid a month later and went and got me one with a 200tdi in for £200 more...depends on whats about i suppose

i,ve just converted my 90 td to tdi and that was aamazing difference i can get up hills without changng down the box

and alot better on fuel
easyer to start
buy a 200tdi one or convert it yourself very easy to do
