2004 -2006 Patrol????

Can the knowledge guru's tell me does the patrol's 4x4 include an open (lockable) diff to allow me to drive with 4 wheel drive on a non slippery surface or is it the simple type where the centre locks as soon as 4wd is selected?

My Trol is a Y61 2000 model.
They dont have a centre diff.
4wd can/should only be activated for off roading purposes only.
Ive tried it in 4wd on tarmac and it just doesnt feel good at all.
It aint no subaru or evo Im affraid.  :lol: I tried it when I first got mine.
