Stretched Range Rover

Hiya,

Im wondering how much of a job, or if anyone has already done it:

I have a 1989 RRC what I'd like is to stretch it to get a 3rd row of seats and make it into a people carrier.  Sounds mad but I love the car.

Ideally the third row would be accessable via another door being added, Im guessing maybe a front door bottom with a rear door top.

Has anyone done this?  Pics?  How would one go about it?  Anything special to consider?

Words of wisedom, expertise, and of course your welcome to say if Im insane for just thinking about it too.

Something like this:

Disco Matt:
I'd guess your main problem will be SVA'ing the beast. It will most likely need that due to the chassis and body mods involved.

I think LR built a one-off P38A "stretch" for one of the Pierce Brosnan Bond films, that Dunsfold now has. It wasn't road legal.
