TDI Timing Case Breather
(1/1)
benbenukuk:
I have just got a TDI Timing Case Breather that goes on the bottom of the case where the plug would normally be can I leave this breather on all the time? and can I get one for the bell housing? Ben
fezzy192:
ben i wouldnt use a breather from the bottom as oil will block it up if any comes out from the crankcase
i have got a wading plug in mine all times and i have made my breather in the inspection plate in the timing case
zulublue:
As Kev say's above put it in the timing inspection cover.
L90OOK:
Don't leave a wading plug in the bell housing or the timing case...they act as drains as well as breathers. put a breathers in elsewhere but never leave the wading bungs in
zulublue:
I leave mine in and check them about once per month or if I have been in deep water within a day or two.
