I suspect that the author has a form of mild OCD, if you read the interspersed text you can see that he'd be "bugged" by knowing that there was scuffed paint under the door panels, or marker pen on the interior paintwork.  Likelyhood is that he simply cannot help being that anal :(

OCD or what !!!

This guy would freak if he saw how I washed my trucks - jetwash, builders bucket of hot water with a squirt or two of some cleaning stuff I got free off a mate, sponge that the dog likes to drag around the garden, followed by a final squirt with the jet wash, and then leave it all to dry in the sun............yes, I said in the sun - that's how often I wash my motors (not !)
