Migraine

<< < (2/3) > >>

beast5680:
i can eat cheese till it comes out me ears and anything else for that matter, i,ve eaten dark chocolate many times but had no adverse effects, but its the only thing i can think of this time
see how it goes tomorrow should have worn off by then hopefully

Range Rover Blues:
I've had the same, like I said I think it's the trigger, not the cause.  I remeber once eating a baked potato with cheese, had that hundreds of times but this once I wasn't enjoying it and realised I was starting to feel sick.  WIthin the hour I needed to be driven home, I couldn't see a hand in front of my face and had all on keeping the potato down, my dad said I'd have been better off being sick as the migrane might have cleared up sooner.

Anyone else had the 3 day migrane?the one that carries on overnight and takes a full day to recover from :->

Oli-L:
Yeah i use to suffer really bad  from them to, the doc said the same thing to me to cut down on choc, cheese, caffeine, coke, and he said to eat properly thoughout the day.

There were times when the only time i was eating was me tea at 6:00 in the evening!! Since then i haven't had a proper killer of a one in ages.. (touch wood!!!)

mike142sl:
I get them occasionally, I can eat chocky, cheese etc without any probs then suddenly one crops up out of nowhere - i suspect it's a combination of things of which tiredness is always one of them, but I think we are all guessing what kicks them off.

Often I can tell when they are coming on and take something 'normal' to knock it back before it gets hold, But either way the best thing I've found is Migraleave when they have got hold which has been the best pill I've taken for them. Only once have I ever woken up in the early hours with one and that was the pits.

Lumbering Jack:
I used to suffer with them a fair bit when I was in my teens - chocolate or bright sunlight used to be the worst for setting them off.  Was always pretty fortunate that they never lasted overnight.  Don't tend to get them very often now but if I feel one starting or get up with a hint of one then I'll dose up before it kicks in.
