Lord Shagg-Pyle:
Its funny, but I thought that snow usually came in the 'Wintertime', which, correct me if I'm wrong, is now!
As for "worst snowfall for years"!
What a load of old cock!
Its only "bad" because this country has forgotten what nature can do, and is totally unprepared for it!
We get a lot of rain and it floods. "Global warming disaster, plague, pestilence, we are all going to Hell". No, its because idiot planners allow houses to be built on flood plains and drains and culverts aren't cleared out properley.
Absolutely pathetic!

Disco Matt:
I think it's a joke chaps - "Professor Green" was a bit of a hint!

lee celtic:
Professor Green   Too easy

by the way it dosn't snow that much at the south pole , I saw a program the other night that said :-

--- Quote ---One interior region of the Antarctic is known as The Dry Valleys. These valleys have not seen rainfall in over two million years. With the exception of one valley, whose lakes are briefly filled with water by inland flowing rivers during the summer, the Dry Valleys contain no moisture (water, ice, or snow). The reason why the Dry Valleys exist are the 100 mph Katabatic down winds which evaporate all moisture. The freezing temperatures and the absence of water, plant life, and animal life simulate, to a degree, conditions on the Planet Mars. Consequently, the Dry Valleys are used as training grounds for astronauts who may one day make a voyage to our neighboring planet
--- End quote ---

However the too cold to snow bit is not true Oymyakon is the coldest inhabated place on earth (-51 in summer) heres a picture and yes thats snow

boss:
joke aside, can i just point out that your average 4x4 does less damage to the enviroment than your average sports car. i was in my girlfriends company jag the otherday and the trip computer read 16mpg . the fact that alot of 4x4s are no bigger than people movers(i belive a defender 90 is only a little bit longer than a micra) is also counter intuative to the tax increace. i am also assuming that things such as servicing and tyres are more expencive on your average sports car/saloon. sorry if im going over things that have already been said but im not sure if ive ever seen these arguments before.

my 2p worth
