td5 model axles on earlier defender 110

Hi All, can you use the later model (non salisbury) axles from a td5 defender on an earlier 110? Are all the mountings etc the same and has anyone done this and can offer advice?

same here chap...not long fitted one on the back of my 110 Dc..

 I believe you'll will need a later model pro-shaft to! I believe that the dealer are instructed to replace any Salisbury axles with later models if they have a vehicle Pre2002 has a rear axle issue the kit use includes a prop shaft.
