My thoughts exactly; I take the wife, the two girls and sometimes the dog!
carbore:
What would you cook the dog on though?
clbarclay:
Open fire lit by rubbing wood together and put the flesh on green sticks obviously.
What I carry does vary a lot, when green laning or pay & play I carry a fair selection
The rest of the time is bear essentials, usually involving
A bottle of water
Head tourch
Jump leads  *
Rope
Selection of tools
Winch key
plus the usual detritus that accumulates in cubby boxes
* How long are typical jump leads?
Mine pair aren't exactly typical at 7m long, made of 35mm2 welding cable with 600 amp clamps on the ends, but everyone i've see offering a jump start insists on parking their vehicle so close that you can't get between the vehicles to reach the batteries. Maybe I'm just abnormal.
